Book Sale Clean Up Service Day 4/9
Thank you for your interest in this service day!
Every year, the "Friends of the Library," an organization dedicated to raising awareness of the New Brunswick Public Library, holds a massive book sale in April to raise funds for the Library to continue providing invaluable resources to the New Brunswick community at no cost.
Give Where You Live invites you to volunteer with the Friends of the Library from 12:30pm-4:00pm on Sunday, April 9th in cleaning up after the book sale and packing the leftover books.
Students are asked to meet at 12:30pm at the Scott Hall Bus Stop (in front of The Yard); from there it will be a 15 minute walk to the library at 60 Livingston Ave. Volunteers are expected to commit to the entire service event and participate in a short reflection at the conclusion of the day.
Do please remember to wear sensible footwear capable of lifting boxes of books.
Only 10 volunteers are needed for this service day and will be accepted on a first come basis upon completing this form.
Registration is REQUIRED - continue filling out this form to confirm your spot as a volunteer for this service day!
